I finally got to fire all of my sculpey pieces that were just laying around. :D HAPPYYYYY~
AND I even painted a few.
Oranda Goldfish, roughly 4" tall & 5" long.
Wire and Foil, Super Sculpey, Acrylic Paint, Sculpey Glaze, Hot Glue
Oranda Goldfish are fat, round fish, usually white with a bulbous red crown.
That was the main project. I love him so much.
When I started painting him I quickly realized that his fins were not as sturdy as I had hoped, his tail especially. It cracked and snapped several times, and I had to glue it back together, resulting in a few ugly glue drops sticking out.. eh, it wasn't so bad. It turned into an adventure with adding bubbles via hot glue that I rather like. :D The majorly disappointing thing is that one of his back fins still looks very broken with bubbles sticking out of it, so I won't be able to put him up for sale.
*sadness*
...
.. and now for some charms! :D
Miyazaki's creature No-Face from Spirited Away
A Sleepy Good-Luck Fox
The Cheshire Cat from Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland
Ooooh! I LOVE the No Face and I LOVE Miyazaki's movies! SWEET creations! :)
